E3 2013: PS4 Has NO DRM

It is official, Sony’s PlayStation 4 has NO DRM restrictions. AT ALL.
To rapturous applause, Sony revealed that the PlayStation 4 will not stop anyone from selling, lending, renting or keep it forever unlike the Xbox One.
The console does not need to be online to play your games, meaning single player continues to be single player. It will also not ask you to check your games every day which means that if you do not check your games every day, the console will not stop you from playing your games like the Xbox One currently does.
This is a massive hit out at Microsoft’s restrictive access on their next generation console.
