Battlefield 4 Multiple New Screens Released

After the deluge of information coming from the Xbox One reveal conference, along with a tonne of video footage of Call of Duty: Ghosts , Battlefield developer EA wants to get in on the news action. They have revealed a new piece of DLC for their newest entry into the franchise, Battlefield 4, along with some new screens for us to compare to Call of Duty on the Xbox One.
Earlier today, EA released images of the Battlefield 4 game to accompany the announcement that the game would indeed be coming to the only just-announced console from Microsoft, the Xbox One, in addition to the PlayStation 4, Sony’s next generation console. The screens show off wonderful graphics on the faces of the characters among other images, including a jungle setting that will help us to compare it with Activision’s juggernaut franchise. Here they are below:

There was also the announcement that the game, if pre-ordered, would come with a China Rising additional downloadable content map pack at no extra cost. Here’s a description of the DLC: “In this sprawling expansion, players fight for dominance across the vast and majestic Chinese mainland in four massive multiplayer maps, using all-new vehicles and high-tech military equipment.”
Lastly, the publisher announced that the game’s multiplayer will be shown off to the public for the first time on June 10th, or as we like to call it… E3! The reveal will take place during EA’s press conference at 1:00 PM PST on the 10th, so mark the date in your calenders people!
Battlefield 4 will be releasing October 29th for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC platforms.  The next generation release dates will be revealed when the console’s release dates have been announced presumably, so keep your eyes peeled to Leviathyn for more news on Battlefield 4 as it comes our way!
