Call of Duty: Ghosts Confirmed With Various Promo Posters

There has been a massive increase in the amount of Call of Duty news over the past few weeks or so. The game has been creating quite a buzz as the United Kingdom-based retailer, Tesco, revealed tonnes of information before they were supposed to. This led to the apparent confirmation of the name Call of Duty: Ghosts as the next installment, along with a box art and a placeholder release date. Are you still one of the doubters who wants to wait ’till it is official? Wait no more. An official promotional poster has been leaked onto the internet announcing the release date and other information.
Thanks to IGN, we have got the image of the poster which has the title of the game, Call of Duty: Ghosts, printed across the top section. This all but confirms the true title of the game, which has been rumored for long before the leak. Another confirmation of leaked information comes from the background image of the poster which shows the character, presumably Modern Warfare 2′s Ghost, pulling on the well-known mask with a skull printed on the front.

Most exciting is the confirmation of a real release date. The date on the poster indicates that the full release of the next Call of Duty game will be November 5th 2013. As almost all of the previous Call of Duty games have been released in the month of November, this was not exactly a huge surprise but the specific date is welcome as there is never any set day for each installment to be released.
GameStop have also had similar posters leaked. Here are the images (thanks to GameTrailers):

There is a lack of confirmation on the front of which consoles the game will be coming to. Some rumors suggest a next generation only launch, but until there is a larger user install base, it would be foolish of Activision with such a big franchise on their hands. Lastly, there is the final confirmation of the developer who, as we all had guessed, would be Infinity Ward. What was not confirmed was whether they would be having any help in the creation of the game as with Modern Warfare 3, where Sledgehammer Games and Raven Software both took on duties.
Expect a full reveal from Activision in the coming days after such big leaks of late. Stay with Leviathyn for more.
