Released on Xbox 360 in January, the PS3 and PC versions of the Call of Duty Map Packs will be released 28th February 2013.
The official details of the maps are as follows:
“Experience Multiplayer on new terrain with maps Hydro, Grind, Downhill, and Mirage. Featuring diverse settings and layouts, this new group of maps brings something for all playstyles.
For the first time ever, take a brand new Multiplayer weapon onto the field with the “Peacekeeper.” Combining the mobility of a SMG with the range of an Assault Rifle, this bonus weapon is sure to be a unique addition to any player’s arsenal.
Zombies fans can continue the undead struggle with “Die Rise,” a new Zombies map. Set along a series of collapsed skyscrapers, players will have to watch their step when fighting through the maze-like terrain.”
This ends the month long wait for PS3 and PC users, continuing Microsoft’s long standing deal to have timed exclusivity on each piece of Call of Duty downloadable content. However there is no word of a date for Wii U content, is this a comment on the performance of the game at retail?
